FMC Presentation
The Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) was conceptualised to contribute towards the process of cluster based development of MSMEs and thus enhance their competitiveness, innovativeness, generate sustainable employment and alleviate poverty. FMC was legally constituted as a non-government, non-profit registered Trust in the year 2005.
– Work more than 10 countries over 150 clusters.
– Designed & implemented customised training programmes.
– Provide assistance to local economic development and also design the methodology & mapping of clusters.
– Energy saving done for over 300 units leading to a saving of 10k tones of CO2 yearly
With the objective of making cutting edge methodologies, tools, information in the field of cluster development accessible to the policy stakeholders, implementing agencies and cluster stakeholders, FMC offers a wide variety of publications
The three building blocks signify social, economic and environmental aspects of cluster development. Together they reflect holistic approach towards inclusive cluster development.
