Our Projects

With a vision of contributing towards on economically progressive, socially connected and environmentally sustainable world, Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) has worked towards inclusive Cluster Initiatives.Through its projects, spread over 15 countries, FMC has contributed towards the process of Cluster based development of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Addressing a wide range of Cluster Beneficiaries, FMC aims to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the MSMEs.

Energy & Environment

Scaling up Sustainable Development of MSME Clusters in India

The project covers around 7 clusters across 3 states in India. 474 Foundries adopt energy efficiency measures resulting in 16000 MT of coke saving per annum. 375 foundries improve their working conditions through Occupational Health and Safety Measures impacting 5000 workers benefitted. Capacity building of 54 BMOs on Sustainable Business Practices and financial linkages to 92 MSMEs making them access institutional finance. ....

Say YES to Sustainable MSMEs in India

The project targets to work in 15 sectors across 9 states in India. Occupational Health & Safety interventions will be done in 250 enterprises impacting approximately 7500 workers. The project will also promote Energy Efficiency including promotion of renewable energy in 81 units resulting in annual reduction in CO2 emissions by 5000 MT. ....

Technical Agency for Coir Board and KVIC under the revamped SFURTI Scheme in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Odisha

Ministry of MSME launched the SFURTI scheme with the view to make the traditional industries more competitive, market driven, productive, profitable and capable of providing sustainable employment for traditional industry artisans and rural entrepreneurs. Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Services

Directorate of Micro & Small Scale Enterprises (DMSSE), Government of West Bengal has appointed FMC as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for development of clusters in the state. DMSSE also entrusted FMC with task of conducting quick survey in 15 clusters cutting across the sectors like food processing, engineering, textiles, furniture, alternative power.
