What is the Project About

The project was aimed at mapping the information base of rural non farm sector activities in To undertake mapping-Inside PhotoIndia to facilitate business linkages and expand market to the private sector. The information was to be utilized for a new website to be created and will serve the interests of traditional product buyers, input suppliers, development agencies and producer groups. The proposal provides a scoping option to include 1000 such clusters over a time frame of 5 years with a potential to enhance the business volume from the existing level of around estimated Rs. 6000 crores. The time frame and orientation of the pilot initiative was however limited to six clusters as an initial pilot.
