The “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative, FMC joined hands with HCL Foundation and conceptualized Surakhsit Udyam Vikas project to uplift artisans suffering from bad businesses due to COVID-19. The project will promote a digital market for artisanal clusters by linking artisans and creating a niche for them to tackle the sensitive post COVID market. The project will also link artisan units to formal financing by making them qualify for loans. The artisans will be trained to improve their production processes by following OHS and COVID-19 precautionary measures. Additionally, the project will educate the artisans about various Govt. schemes to upscale their businesses.
